I was very pleased to purchase a yearling ram from Dylan Jones of Lluest Wen, Machynlleth privately after he did not make his reserve at The Lleyn Sheep Society Sale at Ross-on-Wye. This ram’s sire Bronallt Big Daddy was Lleyn Male Champion at the 2007 Royal Welsh Show and Big Daddy’s sire was Lleyn Breed Champion at the 2006 Royal Welsh Show. Not only does this ram have show success in his pedigree but he also has impressive performance figures. He is in the top 1% of the Maternal and Carcase Indexes of the Lleyn breed.
I purchased a yearling ram privately from Dylan 3 years ago whose sire was Balliliney Action Man, another very successful Lluest Wen stock ram. This ram has performed very well and so I’m excited about introducing the Bronallt Big Daddy bloodline to the Bearwood flock.
